That bad dream you had about 'Grown Ups 2' late last year isn't going away. The sequel-to-be has reportedly been given a summer release date of July 12, 2013. Fred Wolf, the original scribe of the comedian-heavy comedy ('comedy'), is in negotiations to...
By Jessie Heyman Generally the business of sequels is pretty obvious: a movie is good enough to warrant seconds. But, sometimes, bad movies are inexplicably smacked with a part deux (or -- gasp -- even trois). Count this as one of those times: according...
Who celebrates Valentine's Day on a Monday night? Sadly, this year, the most romantic holiday of the year lands on the night of the first day of the workweek. Clearly that's lame and not very romantic, so odds are, many of you will opt to enjoy the...
The last movie to feature Adam Sandler and Kevin James was 'Grown Ups,' a critically reviled, audience insulting comedy that felt like an excuse for all of the stars to hang out and collect a paycheck. It grossed $162 million. Thanks, America. In any...

Adam Sandler's 2010 movie,Grown Ups,about childhood friends/team mates reuniting after the death of their basketball coach, has been getting alot of... rappy reviews lately.I am not quite sure why.I LOVED it.Granted,I'm normally the person who likes the movies that normal people think suck. But,I did not think that this movie would get bad feed back.At least not as much as it has got. I'm a fan of Adam Sandler.I like his early years on SNL & have like just about every movie he has put out, with the exception of maybe 2 of them. But in my honest opinion,Grown Ups is probably the best movie he has ever made and starred in.It is a light-hearted comedy that delivers alot of laughs & sentimental moments.Grown Ups is the children of the late 70's/80's era all 'grown up' and how their lives, with the exception of David Spade's character, have changed. They have married & have children of their own and lead very different lives. The 5 men, however, show that no matter how old you are,no matter WHO you are,man or woman, that there is STILL a child in all of us.Listening to them reminess on their childhood and teenage years was something I also quite enjoyed.I also like the fact that Adam Sandler's charecter,Lenny, brought coulture from his child hood onto his own children.Making them go from bratty little snots,to greatful, sweet kids.I don't know,I suppose that my outlook has alot to do with the fact that Adam,Kevin,Chris & Rob's roles revolve around being family men who were children of the 70's & 80's.I frankly am an 80's NUT!I clearly was born in the wrong generation. But to sum it up,if you don't like this movie, fine. But don't hate on ******** a waste of both of our times.Ok?Those of us who DO like it don't appreciate you negativity. David Spade is ******* hilarious. Sandler was mellow the entire movie, but I guess that's just his way. A feel-good comedy, one of my favorites.
Horrible movie, too many rude references to women and their bodies. I couldn't bear to watch the whole movie. Adam Sandler can... ly make so many movies come on now. Full Review
