Emma Roberts realy comes into her own. That said the movie was both warm and funny at the same time. All of the cast where in character and a realy good story line two thumbs up++++++

Gave you hope your not alone? Are you dumb? It's a movie so yeah, you probably are alone. The movie is absolutely amazing but the book is even better. I read the book about 3 years ago and still thought about it until it became a movie. The movie of course doesnt go as deep as the book but none of the movies based off books ever do. I give it 2 thumbs way

"I used to think art was just bourgeois decadence," a wiser Craig says in the end, which is funny, because that's kind of what this film is. Full Review

There are humor and pathos, but a crucial dimension of intensity is missing. The best I can say is that it's kind of a good movie. Full Review

There's very little that's even kind of funny in It's Kind of a Funny Story, which can't accurately be described as a comedy but isn't a true drama, either. Full Review
Betsy Sharkey
Los Angeles Times
It's Kind of a Funny Story is kind of a perfect coming-of-age comedy, with its bittersweet fun set loose in the adult psych ward of a Brooklyn hospital where this clever case of teenage depression, identity and self-esteem is examined. Full Review

USA Today
Notable for the easy chemistry of its ensemble cast. Full Review
