Rarely do theatrical releases emphasize the important theme of "ability" versus "disability" that this movie does so well. Love N' Dancing is not just a film about someone who is hearing-impaired finding love and acceptance, but it highlights a theme important to life: accepting our own limitations, and then finding the courage to triumph over them. Sometimes you need someone else to help you

It's that familiar adage where a woman falls in love with her dance instructor, and how could she not, when he is the sinfully sexy Tom Malloy! Malloy's character Jake, is a deaf dance instructor who meets up with a schoolteacher, Jessica, played by the adorable Amy Smart. The dance chemistry develops and is lingering on the edge of passion with every move they take. Not only is the dancing

Those of us who have been dancing West Coast Swing for so many years are thrilled to see our friends and mentors take our passion and hobby right to the big screen. We "Westies" can't wait to see this movie. This comes at a perfect time, and will certainly help our sport to grow! Thank you, Robert Royston! The rest of you: learning to dance might change your life...like it did for so many

I bet Amy's father 10 bucks that this movie ( sight unseen) will gross over 50 million or more....seeing the trailer I am already counting my moola...Amy looks absolutely natural and adorable in this part. Ed O

Bland as its title, Love N' Dancing extends the cliches of the dance-and-romance genre -- so overplayed that it's targeted for a Wayans brothers spoof later this month -- to the world of West Coast Swing. Full Review

Actress Amy Smart (Crank) has a knack for bringing a spark to mediocre movies, which she does again in this amiably dull dance drama. Full Review

Has its moments, especially when lithe, beautiful bodies twirl themselves around the dance floor with appealing athleticism. But as a movie trying to deliver comedy, drama and romance, you might want to sit this one out. It's not terrible, mind you, but it just isn't very good. Full Review

This is pretty unremarkable stuff that has little to excite outside of its nicely done twirl-and-dip sections, choreographed here by West Coast swing dancing guru Robert Royston. Full Review
