  • What do you say about a movie that proves Zac Efron can act, introduces a master thespian in Christian McKay and launches a charm assault that is damn near irresistible? I say, see it. show more

  • Christian McKay who, as Orson Welles in Me and Orson Welles"gives what I believe is the most exact and uncanny screen portrayal of an historical figure, ever. show more

  • McKay's performance is a revelation. He nails Welles' imperiousness, charm and vocal cadences, and even bears a strong resemblance to the iconic actor/director. He is thoroughly convincing as Welles and electrifies the screen when he's on it. show more

Utterly awful! Three quarters of the way through the movie I looked at my friend and asked, "is this a farce?" a la "Best in Show"? But no, 'twas not to be. Please do not waste your time on this cliche of a film. The actors weren't acting, they were caricatures of actors. The script was amateurish. So many other good films out there now...not this one

While I found it mildly interesting, my husband could barely stay awake. If you like old movies, you'll like ********* not a love story its a story of Orson Welles getting a play off the ground and how he used his "genius" to feel free to be shallow and treat people like second class citizens.
