Prom has its modest delights, chiefly its young cast. show more

Some movies are in-between and inoffensive and harm absolutely no one. Prom is one of those. show more

Here's a by-the-playbook movie if ever there was one. show more

Joe Neumaier New York Daily News

A movie that's so anachronistically mushy and awkward, it earns extra credit simply for being so innocent. show more

  • 70
    Kirk Honeycutt The Hollywood Reporter

The movie has a cheerful good nature and a solid cast of youngsters - including Aimee Teegarden and Thomas McDonell - but any resemblance between this and real high school is, of course, purely coincidental. show more

A good-hearted, perfectly watchable bonbon. show more

Prom has sweetness, nonthreatening conflict, and enough personality to distance it from the chilling anodyne of Disney's television vehicles. show more

    Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune

The cast's newcomers mix and mingle with ease with the hardened alums of Disney and Nickelodeon TV series. show more

    Mike Scott New Orleans Times-Picayune

A predictable but painless pastiche of high school drama clichés that will give its intended tween audience a lot to squeal about -- and leave their parents reminiscing quietly about how good films from '80s icon John Hughes were. show more

A fairy-tale teenage romantic comedy that makes "The Breakfast Club" look edgy. And that's just fine, because this Disney product does straight-laced fairly well. show more

OMG! I recently own this movie on Blu-ray Disc because Aimee Teegarden is kinda beautiful. Aside from Adventures in Babysitting, Drive Me Crazy, She\'s All That, Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer, What a Girl Wants, She Gets What She Wants, Mean Girls, Crossroads, A Cinderella Story, Scooby-Doo, New York Minute, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, The Princess Diaries, Ice Princess and Clueless, Disney has struck pure teen movie gold with it.
