There's a good idea behind Repo Men, not a whole lot of thinking, but at least one whole idea. show more

    Claudia Puig USA Today

Sitting through this movie is worse than being locked in a room with a continuous loop of "Nip/Tuck" playing on a jumbo screen. show more

    Joe Morgenstern Wall Street Journal

Basically a soulless slasher flick, and one that demeans its gifted performers. show more

    Carrie Rickey Philadelphia Inquirer

As an account of how for-profit big business literally rips a consumer's heart out, Repo Men is too graphic for me. show more

Joe Neumaier New York Daily News

The big problem here is that dark sci-fi satire works best when it aims for several targets. Repo Men aims at corporate greed, which is good, but doesn’t fill in the details. show more

    Michael Rechtshaffen The Hollywood Reporter

Comprising reclaimed bits from "Blade Runner," "A Clockwork Orange" and "Children of Men" and glibly served up with hyper Guy Ritchie attitude by first-time feature director Miguel Sapochnik, the resulting in-your-face mess never knows what it wants to be when it grows up. show more

The overused homages and a tacked-on twist ending are just failed attempts to save Repo Men from its own shallow blood lust. show more

    Rene Rodriguez Miami Herald

The sci-fi thriller Repo Men gets off to a sluggish start. But wait. You have to give the movie time to find its groove and establish its premise. show more

    Washington Post

Repo Men grafts moral ambiguity onto the action thriller, and the result is a weird but likably misshapen beast. show more

    James Berardinelli ReelViews

One problem with Repo Men is that there's not enough material to sustain a 111-minute motion picture. show more

It is plagerism pure and simple. A movie called Repo: The genetic opera based on a graphic novel, was released to theatres in 2007-'08. This is shameless.

Fair movie at best. Concept cool, acting was stereotypical to pedantic, and script was weak. The only redeeming quality is the interesting bond between the main characters, which may have been its downfall since, it seems, current writers/directors can’t multitas

Ummm, seriously? It was so bad I was laughing the whole time. Themes not played out, characters not played out, themes played out that didn't need to, etc. Don't see it.

One of the worst acted, directed, scripted Hollywood pictures I have seen. since the remake of Rollerball (which I had to walk out on) O.k. the concept was a cool idea. But wow did they fail, trying to sell this with the star power of F.W. and J.L. I can't believe these two actors could make these scenes without saying this is horrible, but the money is good. If you are compelled to to see this wait for the $1.00 rental at Mcdonalds (I also walked out on this after an 1 and a half hours of torture) True Review
