Plot Summary
In this dramatic thriller, traveling from the United States to Afghanistan, documentary filmmaker Lars (George Calil) -- along with his translator, Wali (Wali Razaqi), and cameraman, Sunil (Sunil Sadarangani) -- is searching for information about the ongoing hunt for Osama bin Laden. Lars' reckless idea is to intentionally get himself arrested so he can interview his fellow prisoners for leads, and the plan nets him some names that may take him to bounty hunters tracking down bin Laden.

  • Actual footage of Afghanistan makes it an interesting experiment, but as a dramatic thriller, the story of an American documaker is not as taut or compelling as it could be; instead, it's often confusing and irritating. show more
