A slambam sci-fi thriller with a brain, a heart and an artful sense of purpose. You're in for a wild whoosh of a ride. show more

It's a film that, in its own peculiar way, forces viewers to question their values and ask themselves how much they're willing to sacrifice for a functioning society, and how much is too much. show more

This is a OK B-Movie. It would be a acceptable Second Feature. Who is this film's audience? Well it's a great "contemplate your navel", high school social studies, what if, moral teleplay. In short, the teenage kids will like it. There are many flaws. The premise and morality plot is absurd. Anywhere but a train, a scientist would have placed the environmental envelope in a bunker or in space. The movie is technologically absurd. OK let's say we go with a sense of disbelief. Remarkably Chris Evans is well disguised. At 90 Minutes Chris removes his hat and you realize they've captured Captain America on this absurd train. The directors loaded the film with big names, but asked Chris Evans to carry the movie. He makes a good effort, but the plot is just beyond the realm of disbelief. If you are into Sci-Fi, go see it. Otherwise, go see "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", a much better movie.

Joon-ho Bong is a Genius, Artist, Director I had never heard of prior to a week ago. Now, I want to see all of his work. I looked at a few great reviews about Snowpiercer clearly a hard to find in main stream theaters movie last weekend. It was released in 2013 and only now is hitting American theaters. I’ve not considered staying in a theater to watch a movie a second time since One Hundred and One Dalmatians (Okay, I was a babe and you all will have to understand I love dogs). SNOWPIERCER is a JOON-HO BONG masterpiece and I have to see it again.
