Just outstanding

I love heart-tugging films. What this flick shows,is strength and Hope of a southern people. Around Truvy"s (Parton) salon, many people flock in... onage. We meet Ouiser Boudreaux(MacLaine) ,M'lynn Eaterton(Field), and Clairee Belcher (Dukakis). Eaterton's daughter Shelby (Roberts) gets married, and the town is set for a great party. Ainelle (Hannah) is Truvy's assistant who everyone worries about. The laughs come at you rolling, as you watch Ouiser (MacLaine) and Clairee (Dukakis) pal around,and hash it out of fun .Tough times sure ollow,when M'lynn and all the ladies realize sick Shelby has a child.Shelby, becomes determined to fight for strength. Deep emotions would follow, when M'lynn makes the heart-wrenching decision that she would have to take hospitalized Shelby off a respirator. At the funeral, it is M'lynn's speech that rips the heart out. I give a Bravo to Parton,Dukakis,Roberts and Field. I applaud them for their amazing performance! Full Review
