There's three one-word-titled films due this week, each worth at least one word of praise or criticism. 'Buried' is the best of the lot; Ryan Reynolds plays a U.S. truck driver buried in a coffin in Iraq with only a cell phone and a cigarette lighter as...
Approaching the end of November we are on our way towards critics' groups, guilds and professional celebrity schmoozers announcing their awards. Each category is likely to have three favorites translating into Oscar locks. Another four or five will...
For moviegoers, autumn traditionally signals a return to serious drama and relatively weighty subject matter after the popcorn-flavored fare of summer. And while we certainly have a decent slate of rock-solid dramas to look forward to this year (including...

I am always amazed how people interpret movies (and books) that you MUST read between the lines. I saw a lot of \"hope\" in the film. A lesson was being taught- some won\'t be able to grasp.... one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The plot throughout was interesting enough to keep me from turning it off, but not that good. It was the ending that killed me, left me ... extremely disappointed and feeling like I most definitely wasted my time. I like to see character development in movies, to see people change somehow, and there was none of this. Also, the plot throughout makes you think there will be some sort of surprise twist to the ending and then it just ends in a very depressing way. Please spare yourself. Full Review
