Suffice it to say, the issues here are bigger than one woman's story. show more

Williams is hampered by her character's limitations. What results is a mannered tale of an immature, empty vessel. show more

Michelle Williams is a beautiful moper. show more

Is there another actor working today whose face registers the extraordinary range of emotions Michelle Williams can display? Even in a film as false as Sarah Polley's Take This Waltz, her swiftly shifting expressions feel unerringly true. show more

This sophomore feature is a stumble backwards in terms of maturity. show more

Take This Waltz is an unusually kind film about infidelity -- not because it sidesteps or shortchanges heartbreak, but because it doesn't let any one of its characters bear the full burden of blame. show more

The actors are excellent. Rogen falls very comfortably into the role of a 29-year-old who has fallen very comfortably into a living thing - a marriage - and stopped working on it. show more

When I saw 93% viewer score up there; I thought GREAT! Another independent film with good reviews. Normally, I love the most querky and the deepest independent films. BUT, this movie was terrible! I gave it two stars because the acting was good. The movie moved like a snail on an uphill climb! I thought the characters were lame and ignorant for the most part. That being said; don\'******* this movie because of the cast. They did not save this film from massive bordum! There was only one scene in the movie that I was impressed with because it was extremely erotic and sexy. One charachter was verbally having sex with a girl across the table from him. Then I went from wanting a cold shower to \"God, will this movie never end?\"

Excellent acting. I wanted to tell the characters to wake up and smell the roses. Get a life and get on with it. Life is what you make it. You just have it too good and are bored.

This would have been much more believable and clearer if Margo had been a bit less crazy acting. I can\'t remember when I\'ve seen a role played with more confusion as to behavior. Is she crazy, or is she just immature, or what?
