  • Lackluster and decidedly old-fashioned (in the worst way). show more

  • While not exactly in the same league as the visually dazzling "Excalibur" and saddled with cheap looking CGI effects, this Anglo-Italian co-production has quite a bit of fun finding a direct path from the fall of Rome to the birth of Arthurian legend. show more

  • The film is nothing to be ashamed of (especially if you're Kingsley). But it's as if everybody involved knows what the deal is. show more

The movie deserves a lot more than negative criticism.on the whole this could become what one calls a sleeper and become more popular to the masses......just because there was'nt all blood and guts and real violence in this story doesn't mean it is not a good picture............I pity all the critics who only see the visual as some type of disaster................I enjoyed the whole picture and will take the family to see it also.......The cast was also very entertaining as well and the acting just as great..........We need more of these types of films and not just those violent cars chasing cars and shooting to kill actors( just special effects) not really acting.............I say give this film a fair shake for families to see without all the blood
