had no desire to watch this movie but my boyfriend convinced me to and I am glad he did! I was actually a VERY FUNNY movie! I definitely laughed a lot, and the cast was amazing, I mean seriously all those unbelievably talented male actors in a movie together, there is no way it can be a bad movie! Have seen in many times since I was first forced to watch it. A MUST SEE!

Hard to believe the critics were seeing the same movie. I even know some of the history of this stuff, love the actors, GOT most of the Star Wars references, recognized the Iraq war spoofs. Like some many of these others, I kept waiting for something to happen and very little did. Tedious, coma-producing.

i'm just glad my money was refunded to me. i sat all the way through it, but it was only because i was hoping it would get better. The storyline had potential, but it just never held my interest.

Very odd movie. Don't bother seeing it unless you need a George Cloney fix.

Even if The Men Who Stare at Goats is not worth comparing to "Dr. Strangelove," it should satisfy audiences with its great cast and patent absurdities, coated in quaint nostalgia for the happy hippie days of yore. Full Review

Content to be sparkly when it should be sharp-edged and shrewd; it has the potential to roar like a lion, but instead it lays lambs at our feet. Full Review

This is the anti-"Hurt Locker" experience: Where that Iraq War film was absorbing and deadly serious, The Men Who Stare at Goats is irreverent and lighthearted. One only wishes it were a more consistently funny film. Full Review

A superbly written loony-tunes satire, played by a tony cast at the top of its game. Full Review
