It's wholesome fun for the whole family. show more
Simple without being simple-minded, warm without worrying too much about being cool. It's agreeably silly fare for the very small set and not so noisy that parents can't either follow along or take a quick nap. show more
I love veggie tales! My teens (yes, teens) love veggie tales! It's nice to be able to sit in a movie and not worry about what my kids will see or hear! This movie is entertaining and hilarious! A great one to take your grandkids to as well!
We are about to take our 2.5 year old son, Sean and his 7 month old sister to see this movie. It is so sad that we are at a time in 2008 that this is the ONLY G rated movie suitable for these kids to see. Even Alvin, a throwback from the 60's kids era, is rated PG. My patients who saw it said it was definitely inappropriate for toddlers. We will post a full review later today. As a father of 4 children and by no means a super-conservative, I will state the following concerning the USA Today and NY Times reviews: Give me a break and crawl back to reality!! The Washington Post at least took the time and had the intelligence to actually review the film in the context that it was intended. (Do you really think that the Producers of this children's film were trying to pretend that Johnny Depp was playing his "Gay Swashbuckler" part in it?? Yeesh!) The best thing that could happen to these 2 super-liberal institutions that get pawned off as objective journalism is that when Ruppert buys the papers, he fires the whole staff and replaces them with Rush Limbaugh and Curtis Sleewa!Joe Murphy
