    Mick LaSalle San Francisco Chronicle

The last hour of Titanic is huge and staggering, but there's no horror in it. No gravity, either. Entrusted with one of the century's monumental stories, Cameron can present it only as a crying shame. And that's a crying shame. show more

His (Cameron) movie may not be perfect, but visually and viscerally, it pretty well is. show more

A film that sweeps us away into a world of spectacle, beauty and excitement, a realm of fantasy unimaginable without the movies. show more

    Ann Hornaday Baltimore Sun

The title represents size and power, speed and hubris -- the very things the ship has come to stand for and the things that Cameron has restored to the cinema with grand, generous style. show more

    David Sterritt Christian Science Monitor

The first half drags a bit, but the adventure scenes are exciting and the visual effects are as dazzling as Hollywood's most advanced technology can make them. Focusing as much on time and memory as on danger and disaster, it's an epic with a heart. show more

Titanic is a big-budget spectacle and director Cameron brings it off with high-tech bravura, placing us aboard the ship in real time. show more

I really love this movie. It's great. We just saw it in 3D in almost two years ago. When I was about fifteen and we saw the original one in sixteen years ago. It's a great movie to watch.

Outstanding. Well - written, well-scripted, well-paced. Leo should have received an Academy Award for Best Actor that year and Kate Winslet should have received the Academy Award for Best Actress. (Who the heck is Helen Hunt?)

Great article! Titanic was awesome the first time I went 15 years ago and the new rerelease in 3-D is an awesome experience. I’ve watched Titanic dozens of times over the years on my Hopper DVR. I can stream it to my iPad, using my Sling adapter feature which allows me to have TV on the go. I can watch what’s on my DVR or live TV which provides me full control. I never have time at home to watch TV, that’s why this comes in so handy. This all changed when my coworker from DISH told me about this. Now I get my entertainment needs when I’m awa

I LOVED the TITANIC 3D. It was really great to see it on the big screen. Even though it was 3 hrs and 14 mins long the movie was well done in 3D. It was my first time ever seeing a 3D movie so I did enjoy it. TITANIC is also my favorite movie so there really is not much to say bout the movie. Just loved a lot.
