Since I loved "Broken Flowers" AND "Lars and the Real Girl," I'm gonna take Sally's review as an indication this is a must-see picture.
Once again I have gone to a movie based on critics reviews. Apparently I do not understand the contemporary movie maker. Though I thought the acting was quite good and the dog adorable, I do was b... ored. And unsatisfied. I did wonder about the "backstory" of poor Wendy and what her future might hold, I didn't care much. I also hated "Broken Flowers!" Guess I have to go back to the consumer-friendly films.....
