Young Marvels

Series Summary
This series studies some child prodigies in the arts. The profiles show how the youths balance stresses of practice and studio time with day-to-day activities of being a kid. Each episode highlights what it's like growing up with artistic ability and what sacrifices must be made to maximize talent. The youngsters include a 12-year-old cellist from a family of accomplished musicians, a 14-year-old from Vermont who moved to New York to pursue ballet, and an 8-year-old girl who plays several instruments and communicates and sings in eight languages.
