Olsen Sisters Demand Doubled Salaries in 'Unauthorized Full House Story'

Inflated egos and hard-balling salary negotiations open the new trailer for Lifetime’s “The Unauthorized Full House Story.”

The tell-all flick chronicles the behind-the-scenes drama of the wildly popular ‘90s ABC sitcom that made stars out of twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos and Bob Saget.

In this clip, agents for sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, who shared the same role as Michelle Tanner, demand more money after the show takes off: "Double. Each." Actresses Blaise and Kinslea Todd take on the parts of the youngster twins.

The family comedy’s resident heartthrob John Stamos, played by Justin Gaston, is seen basking in the spotlight—and his romance with Paula Abdul is also featured.

Apparently, not just the wallets for the cast inflated—their heads did too. A tense moment shows Stamos confronted by cast-mate Dave Coulier, who says, “This isn’t just about you, it’s about all of us.”

"The Unauthorized Full House Story" premieres Aug. 22 on Lifetime at 8 p.m.

“Full House” aired from 1987 to 1995 and followed a widowed father (Bob Saget) as he raised his three daughters (Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and twins Mary-Kate and Ashley sharing their role) in his home in San Francisco, along with the help of his best friend (Dave Coulier) and brother-in-law (John Stamos).

A Netflix reboot titled “Fuller House” will see Bure reprising her role as grownup D.J. Tanner, now a single mother, who is raising her children alongside her best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).
