"The Light Between Oceans" is a vague title, but it's one of those dilemma dramas that forces you to ask yourself "What would you do?" when both options would be painful.

Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander -- Oscar nominees who are apparently dating in real life, because they're not perfect enough on their own -- star in the film adaptation of M.L. Stedman's Australian novel. The first trailer was just released, co-starring Rachel Weisz.

The story, set in the early 20th Century, follows married couple Tom (Fassy) and Isabel (Vikander), who live in a remote lighthouse off the Australian coast. One day, a baby girl mysteriously washes ashore in a boat, and they take her in. However, things get complicated years later when they discover the girl was not abandoned or orphaned. Instead, the baby and father were thought to be lost at sea, and the biological mother, Hannah (Weisz), desperately wants her child back. So what would you do? Give the baby back, even though she has been your daughter for years?
