Margot Robbie is just speculating -- (because no one explains these things to the actors, apparently) -- but she's probably right about why "Suicide Squad" cut so many of her Harley Quinn scenes with The Joker.

While sipping mimosas for a "Tipsy Talk" interview (watch the video below), Robbie echoed what Jared Leto said recently about so many scenes being cut from the final film. "We filmed so much of our backstory," the actress said of Harley and the Joker.

Why were those scenes cut? Here's her theory:

"I think what they realized -- I mean, I don't know, I wasn't in the editing suite -- but they probably realized that the emotional through-line of the story had to be the mission that we were on, and kind of explaining the Enchantress' position and all that kind of stuff. And the backstory stuff -- though it's, like, magic and some of the stuff we shot was insane -- they are flashbacks and they're meant to be like snippets. [...] So there's a lot, but it just didn't make sense to confuse the present storyline to incorporate all that."

Robbie was also asked about the Harley spinoff movie rumor, and she said, "I'm trying to make that happen." She said there's a lot more story to tell.

Here's a list of scenes rumored to have been cut from "Suicide Squad." One fan said he's actually planning to sue for false advertising, after buying his ticket based on the trailers, and then not seeing those scenes in the movie.
