A group of moms is getting dangerous.

HBO recently released the official "Big Little Lies," and the limited series looks like a dark one. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley as a trio of mothers whose kids go to the same school, the show follows them as their lives unravel. The preview makes no secret that something bad is coming: murder.

Although we know the crime will be committed, there are still many, many questions to be answered, such as who is behind the murder and why. The preview introduces some of those possibly involved, using both scenes of their lives and what appear to be interviews with those who know them.

"Jane just didn't fit here," says one woman of Woodley's character, for example. "Kind of like a dirty, old Prius parked outside of Barneys." Harsh.

With its all-star cast and compelling plot, based on the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, HBO could have another winner on its hands. Check out the trailer below."Big Little Lies" premieres Feb. 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
