Japril fans, look away.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 has been rough for Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) on a personal level. She just lost her mother, which certainly makes her unrequited crush on Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) seem insignificant. But, as TVLine noted, before Mama Diane Pierce (LaTanya Richardson Jackson) died, she told Maggie that she should "make a mistake" and get "a little slutty." Actress Kelly McCreary also told TVLine that the guys at Grey Sloan are mostly "in these sort of ambiguous relationships" so getting involved with any of them "might give Maggie something to be messy about."

Put those together and add in the photos for tonight's (April 6) episode, "What's Inside," which show Maggie and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) side-by-side.

It looks like he's giving her work documents, but the idea of Jackson and Maggie getting together -- even as Jackson seems to be reconnecting with April Kepner (Sarah Drew) -- does seem like such a messy "Grey's" thing to do.

TVLine put it out there, and fans are responding in comments. As usual, the responses are mixed. Some fans just don't like April, and are in favor of Anyone But Her with Jackson. Other fans don't want to see Japril split up. Others are weirded out by the familial connection that Jackson's stepdad is Maggie's biological dad. And still others just don't like the idea of Maggie getting stuck in another love triangle after the awkward situation with Meredith and Riggs (who will soon have an in-flight episode of their own).

Whatever does or does not happen with Jackson and Maggie, here's ABC's synopsis for "What's Inside":

"When Maggie takes on a big case, many of the doctors are worried she's not the right one for the job while Stephanie makes a mistake, treating one of Grey Sloan's own."

That airs Thursday, April 6 (tonight) at 8 p.m.
