Don't get up when those credits start rolling after "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." Director James Gunn revealed on Twitter that -- contrary to one report -- there are not four but five post-credit scenes.

Early reviews are effusive, with online critics saying the sequel is "MCU at its very best," "a whole heap of fun," and "surprisingly moving." Several used a happy Baby Groot gif to express their reaction.

Some didn't love it as much as the first film, but the overall reaction seems to be a collective thumbs up.

The embargo on full reviews lifts April 24. The movie opens May 5.

Meanwhile, Gunn urged fans to "be careful what you read" if you want to enjoy all the film's surprises.
