Life is going on in "13 Reasons Why" Season 2, and it's going to mean some big changes.

Star Katherine Langford is helping fans prepare for what we assume will be another gut-wrenching season of the Netflix drama series. The actress, who plays Hannah, recently chatted with EW, sharing what fans should expect -- and not expect -- moving forward. Spoilers ahead if you haven't finished Season 1.

Even though the first 13 episodes culminated in Hannah's heartbreaking suicide, she'll be back in Season 2. That said, Langford cautioned that she won't be the same.

"You see a very different Hannah in season 2," she told EW. "I would prepare fans not to expect the Hannah from Season 1 for a multitude of reasons."

Unsurprisingly, that hint is extremely cryptic. The actress only made it more so by adding that much of the season for her "is about letting Hannah go," a possible sign that she'll ultimately be gone for good. Yet whether or not that's the case, many others will be dealing with Hannah's death.

"As sad as it is, there is life after Hannah, and this season we get to see the effects it had on the people around her a lot more," Langford told EW.

Sad is right. Various cast members, including Langford, have previously discussed how "emotional" the upcoming season will be. Along the way, "13 Reasons Why" will move in new directions, including introducing new characters into the mix.

"It's a different story than season 1 and I think that's a good thing," Langford said. "This season we get to explore a lot more of the other characters and their journeys, which I'm excited about."

We'll probably need tissues for every part of it.

The release date for "13 Reasons Why" Season 2 hasn't been announced yet, but Season 1 is available on Netflix now.
