Ellen DeGeneres shared a touching tribute to her father, Elliott, who passed away this week at age 92.

During yesterday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," she shared a photo of her father and said how proud he was of her.

"In addition to [the devastating mudslides in] Montecito, I lost my dad this week. He was 92 years old. He had a good, long life," she said.

She shared that she was able to say goodbye to her father and that he passed away 10 minutes later.

That's when she saw the huge rainbow over the studios where she films her show. She shared the photo on Instagram with this caption: "I was able to say goodbye. When I was a kid, my dad took us on one vacation to Warner Bros. Studios. He loved this business. He loved that I was in it. When he died, I saw this rainbow over the stage they named for me."

She also shared a black-and-white photo of her with her father, whom she credits for her sense of humor.

My dad and me. ❤️
