Is it a spring awakening for "Game of Thrones" Season 8?

The HBO fantasty drama's final season won't air until 2019, as everyone knows and has gnashed their teeth over. But now, star Maisie Williams has seemingly revealed that fans will only have to wait a few months into that year to get their dragons, white walkers, and Iron Throne machinations.

"We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]," Williams told Metro UK while promoting the movie "Early Man."

"That's a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There's a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities."

HBO has not confirmed the April premiere date.

Williams didn't discuss any plot details of the season. Even her "Early Man" co-star Eddie Redmayne has tried in vain to get her to spill some spoilers. But she did say she hopes Arya will "find peace."

"The things that have been driving her through her story have been very bitter and twisted and aggressive," the actress said. "I would love for Arya to find her true self again and let go of this anger and revenge that's accompanied her on this journey. I'd love for her to be happy."
