"Sense8" fans are a passionate lot, and they're still ticked at Netflix for the "cluster"-f*ck of cancelling the show after two seasons.

However, at least Netflix caved enough to produce a two-hour movie finale movie. It may not be enough to really wrap things up to fans' satisfaction, but it's something.

Netflix just revealed that the "Sense8" finale special will stream Friday, June 8. The streamer also shared a poster, which -- according to TVLine -- is available in more than 20 languages:

Here's Netflix's statement on the finale:

"Personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates.

The highly-anticipated conclusion to the saga of the Sense8 cluster will be revealed when the series finale launches globally on June 8, only on Netflix."

The series, created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski, was canceled last June. Fans were heartbroken at the lack of closure. The "Sense8" team responded, and then Netflix responded later that same month to say they'd bring the show back for a two-hour special in 2018.

And now we know that special is coming almost exactly one year after the initial cancellation news.

While you wait for "Sense8" to arrive in June, watch (or rewatch) the finale special video below, and check out what's coming to and leaving Netflix in May.
