Victoria Pedretti, it's all about "You."

The "Haunting of Hill House" actress has been cast as the female lead in Season 2 of the stalker drama "You."

Pedretti will play Love Quinn, an aspiring chef working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store. Love is uninterested in the world of social media, branding and self-promotion, focused instead on leading an interesting life. She is also tending to a deep grief — and when she meets Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), she senses a shared knowledge of profound, life-changing loss.

"You" premiered on Lifetime last fall, and when the cable network canceled it, Netflix stepped in to order Season 2. But while the thriller only averaged about 1.1 million viewers per episode on Lifetime, Netflix claimed that 40 million member households had viewed "You" in its first four weeks.

"You" is based on Caroline Kepnes' best-selling novel of the same name. It's described as a 21st century love story about the obsessive, yet brilliant twentysomething Joe who uses the hyper connectivity of today’s technology to make the woman of his dreams fall in love with him.

At the end of Season 1 [SPOILERS AHEAD], Joe had murdered the object of his obsession, Beck (Elizabeth Lail), and was shocked to come face to face with his ex, Candace.

Season 2 will see Joe go to Los Angeles to continue his search for love. However, the story will diverge quite a bit from Kepnes' follow-up novel "Hidden Bodies."
