For the first time since the end of "Lost" in 2010, Evangeline Lilly will be starring in a TV series. The "Avengers: Endgame" actress has signed on to star in and executive produce the upcoming mystery drama "Albedo," Deadline reports. The show's co-creators, Max and Adam Reid ("Sneaky Pete"), will also executive produce.

The series takes place 150 years in the future and is a murder mystery of sorts. After a scientist dies aboard a space station, Detective Vivien Coleman (Lilly) is dispatched to the edge of the solar system to investigate. She'll find herself isolated from Earth with the station's crew, who happen to be murder suspects with secrets. On top of that, the future of humankind may be at stake.

Lilly starred as Kate Austen on "Lost" from 2004 to 2010, and since then, she has had major roles in several high-profile films. Not only does she play Hope van Dyne (aka the Wasp) in the MCU, she starred in two "Hobbit" sequels. Her next film out will be 2020's "Dreamland."

"Albedo" comes from Entertainment One, Brad Peyton, and Canada's Bell Media. When it premieres, it will be available to Canadian viewers via Bell Media's platforms and to U.S. viewers via Vudu.
