Marvel Really, Really Wants Keanu Reeves in Its Movies
Call it the Keanu-ssance.
Keanu Reeves is having a very good year, starring in the latest installment of his hit action franchise "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" and making a hilarious cameo as himself in Netflix's rom-com "Always Be My Maybe."
It seems even Marvel wants a piece of that Keanu magic. They've been trying to get him in one of their movies.
“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige told Comicbook.com.
“I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
Marvel has been secretive about its plans post-"Spider-Man: Far From Home." The studio is reportedly returning to San Diego Comic-Con, where it may reveal its upcoming slate. Could one of the projects in the pipeline — say, "The Eternals" with Angelina Jolie — be the right fit?
Let the Keanu-ssance continue.
