Alain Pelletier explores video by means of a multidisciplinary approach which combines theatre, dance, literature, music and the visual arts. His work is notable for the strong tension in it between a desire for objectivity towards the topics it takes up and the visceral pressure these same topics exert. He expresses this primordial tension through the synaesthetic possibilities of the video medium.
