Andy J. Carlson was born and raised in Oakland, California, where his early ambitions were rooted on the baseball field rather than the stage. Despite having strong natural talent, he struggled with discipline and learned firsthand that potential alone isn’t enough. When his chances to advance in baseball faded, the experience left a lasting sense of regret — and a powerful lesson.
Carlson nearly repeated that pattern with acting. He knew he had the ability, but for years he waited for opportunities instead of creating them. Everything changed on September 22, 2017, when he committed fully to pursuing his craft. From that moment forward, he embraced the work, the training, and the grind required to turn passion into a career.
Within his first year, Carlson completed ten projects, including four leading roles, quickly establishing himself as a driven and versatile performer. With a renewed sense of purpose and a relentless work ethic, he continues to build momentum and carve out his place in the industry.
