Halil Yılmaz (2003) is a director and writer who was born in Istanbul. He continued to live in this city until he went to Aydin for university. He is now a final year undergraduate student at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, under the Radio, TV and Cinema Department of its Faculty of Communication. While he had some attempts at making short films as part of his assignments, his thesis short film "A Letter, To A City (?) That Is 10 Out Of 10" marks his proper directorial debut.
