Hamid Benani Biography

Moroccan actor and director, born on November 5, 1942 in Meknes, obtained a BA in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts in Rabat. He graduated from the Institute of Higher Film Studies in Paris. Bennani worked as the head of the foreign relations department for Moroccan radio and television from 1968 to 1970, then he founded with the great late Ahmed Al-Bouanani, veteran filmmaker and experimenter Mohamed Abdel Rahman Al-Tazi and Mohamed Al-Sakat the production company (Sikma 3), as previously mentioned Hamid Bennani is installed as president of the Moroccan Chamber of Film Producers.

He signed the films: “The Maids”, “The Heart to the Heart” in 1967, “The Birth of a Star” and “The Moroccan Family”.
