Peter Turner Biography

Peter Turner is a Liverpool-born actor, writer and director. He joined the National Youth Theatre aged sixteen, working extensively in theatre, film and television. He is the author of Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool, the true story of his intimate friendship with Hollywood star Gloria Grahame. His memoir was turned into a movie in 2017 in which he had a small cameo.

Jamie Bell played Turner as a young man, opposite Annette Bening as Grahame.
