Renzo Cerrato

Renzo Cerrato was an Italian assistant director, director, and actor, known for his work in European cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. Born in Roccavignale, Liguria, he began his career in the film industry after completing his secondary education. In addition to his directorial work, he appeared as an actor in films such as The Gendarme in New York (1965).

Cerrato's career reflects a versatile engagement with various facets of filmmaking, contributing to the richness of Italian and French cinema. He passed away in Frascati, Lazio, in 2013 at the age of 93.
