Tynan DeLong Biography
Tynan DeLong is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY working as a filmmaker, actor, and writer. He can currently be seen in the Netflix-streaming documentary series Mortified Nation. As a prolific filmmaker, creating over 20 shorts and series since 2018, his work has been featured at the Maryland Film Festival, Nitehawk Film Festival, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, NoBudge Live and New Cinema Club screenings, as well as his own residency for the 2019 season at the Wythe Hotel.
In print and online, he has been featured in Vulture, Paste, Splitsider, NoBudge, Booom.TV, and Vice. As an actor, he has featured in several short films and series, including Vimeo Staff Pick “The Astronauts.” He was the showrunner for the Channel 101 hit Jana & Shasta starring Ana Fabrega. The series was an official selection of the 2016 Brooklyn Comedy Festival and the 2016 New York Television Festival, where it was awarded a development deal from Seeso.
