Plot Summary

Filmmakers Nick Doob and Chris Hegedus document a year in the life of satirist Al Franken, as he tours to promote his book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" and as he helps lay the groundwork for Air America and campaigns for John Kerry during the 2004 presidential election. In between, Franken spars with pundits Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter.
