Birdsong

Kata, a former ornithologist, returns to a remote mountain in search of a rare endangered bird and to seek closure to the unexplained disappearance of her partner a decade prior. Accompanied by her current boyfriend and a local guide, the journey slowly reveals something more unsettling when the forest itself seems to echo, imitate, and remember.
