When Sumoud, a Palestinian refugee girl from Gaza, arrives in the US, Yasmeen, a Palestinian-American girl, is reluctant to meet her and doubts they'll have much in common. She soon discovers they share far more than she ever expected. As she learns about Sumoud's life in a refugee camp, Yasmeen is deeply moved, and her view of the world is forever changed.
