Confrontation on the Ship with Captain Hook

Captain Hook: [The pirates scream in panic, and Ran to get their supples] Croc on the Ship! Take out your weapons, guns and swords!
Michael: [Gets Dropped by Hook; After He Leaves, Peter’s Feet Comes Down and He is Holding Wendy, who is still alive] Oof!

Captain Hook's Final Story of Peter Pan

Captain Hook: Why is he? What is he? I'll have one last story before you die - the story of Peter Pan.

The Story of Peter Pan Unfolds

Wendy: [frightened] Once upon a time...
Smee: Brutes! Red-Handed Jill is going to tell us a story!
Pirates: [they all sit down like a bunch of kindergarteners] HOORAY!
Wendy: There was a boy named Peter Pan, who decided not to grow up.
Hook: [threateningly] Skip the prologue.
Wendy: ...So he flew away to Neverland where the pirates are.
Noodler: Was one of them pirates called Noodler?
Wendy: Yes.
Noodler: Capt'n, did you hear? I am in a story!
Hook: [to Wendy] What fun he must have had
Wendy: Yes, but he was rather lonely.
Hook: Lonely? He needed a Wendy.
Pirate: [wistfully] I need a Wendy.
Smee: [to the audience] Oh, very exciting! Two dead already!
Hook: Why a Wendy?
Wendy: He liked my stories.
Hook: What stories?
Wendy: Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty.
Hook: Love stories?
Wendy: Adventures! In which good triumphs over evil!
Hook: [Wendy gasps as he uses his hook to cut the ropes and holds her hostage] They all end in a kiss. A kiss. He does feel! He feels about you.
Hook: She told him stories. He taught her to fly. How?
Wendy: You just think happy thoughts. They lift you into the air.
Hook: Alas, I have no happy thoughts.
Wendy: That brings you down!
Hook: [threatens to cut Wendy's throat with his hook] How else?
Michael: Fairy dust! You need fairy dust!
John and the Lost Boys: Michael!
Hook: What of Pan? Would unhappy thoughts bring him down?
Wendy: He has no unhappy thoughts.
Hook: Well, what if a Wendy...WALKS THE PLANK?!

Exploring Emotions in Peter Pan's World

Wendy: Peter, what are your real...feelings?
Peter: Feelings?
Wendy: What do you feel? Happiness? Sadness? Jealousy?
Peter: [pulls out his dagger] Jealousy? Tink!
Wendy: Anger?
Peter: [a twig snaps] Anger. Hook.
Wendy: Love?
Peter: Love?
Wendy: Love.
Peter: I have never heard of it.
Wendy: I think you have, Peter. I daresay you've felt it yourself, for something...or someone.
Peter: [whispers in her ear] Never. Even the sound of it offends me.
Wendy: [tries to touch his face] Peter-
Peter: [backs away] Why do you spoil everything? We have fun, don't we? I taught you to fight and to fly! What more could there be?
Wendy: There is so much more.
Peter: What? What else is there?
Wendy: I don't know. I think it becomes clearer when you grow up.
Peter: [angrily] Well, I will not grow up! You Cannot make me! I will banish you like Tinker Bell.
Wendy: [angrily] I WILL NOT BE BANISHED!
Peter: [flies off] Then go home! Go home and grow up! And take your feelings with you!
Wendy: Peter! Peter, come back! Peter!

A Witty Exchange Between Rivals

Hook: If I were you, I would give up.
Pan: If you were me, I'd be ugly.

A Plea for Mercy Among Gentlemen

Smee: [while chaining Tiger Lily; to the Darling boys] Sorry, Your Highness. Any last words?
Starkey: Beg for yer lives!
John: Sir! My brother and I are English gentlemen. English gentlemen do not beg!
Michael: [pauses, then gets on his knees] Please! Please! Please don't kill me!
John: [then gets on his knees] Oh, please don't kill me, either!

Mermaids: Enchantment or Danger?

Wendy: [Peter looks disgusted] Oh, how sweet. What? Are mermaids not sweet?
Peter: [the mermaids swim over to them; while Peter is talking to some of them, one of them gently takes Wendy's hand and slowly tries to pull her in the water, until Peter furiously hisses at the mermaid, she hisses back and the mermaids swim away.] They'll sweetly drown you if you get too close.

Dreams of Forgiveness and Pirate Reflections

Smee: Cap'n? Cap'n! As I was sitting wide-eyed on my watch, I noticed it was winter time on the water but springtime on the shore, I says to me self "that's early for spring to be a stir", spring's not due til 3 p.m, check the time yourself Cap'n and then tell-
Hook: I was dreaming, Smee, of Pan.
Smee: Pan, Cap'n?
Hook: And in my dream, I was a magnanimous fellow full of forgiveness. I thanked Pan for cutting off my hand, and to giving me this fine hook for disembowelling and ripping throats, and other such homely uses as combing my hair.
Smee: So, Pan did you a favour then, Cap'n?
Hoot: [Smee gives Hook his hook; using his hook closer to Smee's face] A favour? He threw my hand to a crocodile. The beast liked it so much, it's followed me ever since, licking its lips for the rest of me. YOU CALL THAT A FAVOUR?!?!
Smee: [noticing his glasses is a bit falling; Hook gently pushes the glasses with his hook] No, no, no, no... Thank you.
Hook: [throws the broken clock with others] Thank Lucifer the beast swallowed a clock , if it wasn't for the ticking, it would've had me by now, why did you wake me Smee?
Smee: I said Captain, the ice is melting, the sun is out and the flowers are all in bloom.
Hook: He's back!

Introduction of Characters and Magic

Peter: Who are you?
John: I'm John.
Peter: [thrusts his dirty, bare foot into John's face] John...Take hold of this.
Tinker Bell: [gestures to Peter's foot; lies back on Peter's foot, kicking her legs] TA-DAAA!
Peter: [lies back and smiles; John stares wide-eyed at Peter's foot, and begins to grab his ankle with both of his hands, while flying straight toward the second star] Both hands. Pass it on!
John: Michael, take hold of my ankle!
Michael: [grabs John's ankle] Wendy, take hold of my ankle!
Peter: Whatever happens, don't...let...GO!!!

A Call for Maturity and Respect

George: [chaining Nana outside despite his family's protests] No! I must become a man that children fear and adults respect, or we shall all end up IN THE STREET!
Mary: George, not so loud.
Aunt Millicent: George, the neighbors will hear.
George: [points at Nana; angrily pulls off the hat on Nana, which made Mary gasp; to Wendy] Let them hear! Let the whole world know! This is not a nurse! This is a dog! Tomorrow, you will begin your instruction with Aunt Millicent. It's time for you to grow up!
