Plot Summary
When a disastrous flood pushes ranchers to a neighboring county, cowboy Gene Autry (Gene Autry) starts singing on the radio to fundraise. But there's more needed in town than dollars, as sinister businessman Stephen Holloway (Douglas Dumbrille) conspires with Rep. Fuller (Gordon Hart) to block political action that would help the ranchers. Inspired, Gene runs for Congress and makes it to Washington, D.C., where he hopes to get to the bottom of Fuller and Holloway's scheme and save the day.
