About
After going their separate ways, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred reunite to investigate the ghost of Moonscar the pirate on a haunted bayou island, but it turns out the swashbuckler's spirit isn't the only creepy character on the island. The sleuths also meet up with cat creatures and zombies... and it looks like for the first time in their lives, these ghouls might actually be real.

Morgan Moonscar! He was the cause of all this. I was one of a group of settlers who made this island our home. We looked to our Cat God for a bountiful harvest. Until that night, when he came ashore. He drove the islanders into the bayou. All except for Lena and myself. We uttered a curse on the pirates, to destroy them as they had destroyed our island. Our wish was granted. We became cat creatures and destroyed the pirates. Only afterwards, did we discover that invoking the Cat God's power had cursed us as well.
[Flashback starts; voice-over; the islanders all dance and party when Morgan and his crew appear and attack before Past Simone and Lena run away; Past Simone and Lena gasp in horror as they watch the islanders run into the bayou and get eaten alive by a group alligators; the two pray to the Cat God in a secret passage way, seeking revenge on Morgan and his crew; Past Simone and Lena transform into were-cats and leave the cave before coming across Morgan and his crew digging a hole in the ground to put a treasure chest inside; Morgan screams; flashback fades]
