Plot Summary
Mark St. Neots (John Justin) has a passionate relationship with redheaded Sylvia (Moira Shearer) in his youth. As he ages, he continues to remember his first love very fondly, to the point of idealizing her. When Mark, now a married, middle-aged diplomat, meets Daphne (also played by Shearer), a redhead just like Sylvia, he becomes fascinated with her.
