The Devil Wears Prada 2 Review
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ has Charm, But is Mostly a Serviceable Sequel. The long-anticipated comedy sequel sees the return of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci for more fashion sense and zingers. With McKenna once again drawing (even more loosely this time from Lauren Weisberger’s original source novel), the screenplay has plenty of Miranda Priestly Zingers and some –– pun entirely intended –– blunt putdowns.
And while the story feels rushed in places, it at least has something on its mind beyond the fashion world.
