Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow were kickin' it in style at the 89th Academy Awards. Marvel heroes Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Scarlett Johansson brought their A-for-Avengers game to the red carpet, and Evans and Johansson sat next to each other during the show. (They also presented awards.)

Evans and Renner (who was in the nominated film "Arrival") are close buds from "The Avengers," and it was with Renner that Evans watched his beloved Patriots win another Super Bowl. (This was right after his split from Jenny Slate, but you probably knew that.)

According to PopSugar, the also recently single Johansson took her agent, Joe Machota, to the Oscars as her date. She also brought him as her date to the 2011 Oscars.

Fans definitely noticed that Johansson and Evans were seated next to each other in the theater, and they may have read too much into it:

The "Avengers" stars should be pretty busy for a while, since "Avengers: Infinity War" is now in production for its May 4, 2018 release.
