With "American Horror Story: Apocalypse" serving as the "Coven"/"Murder House" crossover, some of our old favorites are back, and they're giving fans a lot of reasons to be excited.

One of those reasons is the wave of set photos that has hit social media. After creator Ryan Murphy released some earlier this week, star Dylan McDermott added one of his own on Wednesday. He posted a set photo with his co-star Evan Peters on Instagram and wrote that it was "just like old times..."

Indeed, it is. McDermott and Peters starred together in the first-ever "American Horror Story" installment, "Murder House," in 2011, and then McDermott took a smaller role in the following year's "Asylum." He hasn't appeared in any of the subsequent additions to the FX anthology horror series since, but Peters has been an "AHS" staple, appearing in all of them. They're finally reunited now that McDermott is reprising his role as Dr. Ben Harmon.

The two actors are joined by a number of AHS vets in "Apocalypse"; Jessica Lange, Connie Britton, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jakcson, Gabourey Sidibe, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, and Stevie Nicks are all set to return. It's a full (murder) house.

"American Horror Story: Apocalypse" premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
