Did Hayley Atwell just tease the return of Peggy Carter to the "Avengers" or not?

Atwell shared an intriguing set photo the other day, with her face covered in black dots.

Don't question my process. It's very serious #setlifethuglife

Those dots have become familiar to fans, not only from CGI work but also from special effects like aging and de-aging actors. She did this before:

Will Atwell return to Marvel's "Avengers" movies in some kind of flashback that changes her age? As CinemaBlend noted, the "Avengers: Infinity War" D23 presentation teased that "Time can fix anything." CBR added more hints to a Peggy return, referencing a meeting Atwell had with a Marvel boss in late July, and a casting call for the two upcoming "Avengers" movies. That Atlanta casting call, for Oct 12-16, was for Caucasian women to play engineers for a very small scene, "no modern colors or cuts." Sounds like it could be a Peggy flashback, no?

So could Peggy be returning in "Infinity War" and/or the now filming "Avengers 4" or were her black dots just for "Christopher Robin"? Right now, Atwell seems to be filming her role opposite Ewan McGregor, as Christopher Robin's wife. So it's possible her black dot effects work will be for that film instead, aging that character.

Maybe Hayley Atwell will shed some light on this in an interview or another post. Maybe she has no idea the Internet is now buzzing about her possible return to Cap. "Infinity War" opens on May 4th, 2018. "Avengers 4" opens May 3rd, 2019.
