Budding actor Ellar Coltrane's star continues to soar after coming to the attention of Hollywood last year in the Oscar-winning film "Boyhood."

The 21-year-old has landed a role alongside Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in "The Circle" - his first feature since appearing in "Boyhood" opposite Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke.

The forthcoming drama is adapted from the 2013 book by Dave Eggers that tells the story of a tech industry wiz, played by Watson, who becomes a heavy hitter in the Circle, a tech conglomerate that supports transparency over personal privacy among individuals. Coltrane will star as her boyfriend and Hanks will play the corporation's founder.
