T'Challa is a ruler of Wakanda and the box office, but he wasn't born the king of Black Jeopardy.

"Saturday Night Live" over the weekend, and the "Black Panther" star reprised his role from the hit Marvel flick. He portrayed T'Challa in not one but two sketches, including the "SNL" parody quiz show Black Jeopardy. When pitted against contestants Shanice (Leslie Jones) and Rashad (Chris Redd), T'Challa got off to a rough start. Growing up in Wakanda, he had some gaps in his knowledge of life in America. The Wakandan leader was at a loss when faced with questions about dealing with Sallie Mae and airline baggage fees, for example.

However, much as Black Jeopardy host Darnell Hayes (Kenan Thompson) cringed as T'Challa got used to the game, the Wakandan leader eventually caught on, and in hilarious fashion. Watch below.

T'Challa also showed up in a "new scene" from "Black Panther" and spent some quality time with his ancestors.

"Saturday Night Live" airs at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on NBC.
